Not sure if this will work perfectly, but, if you have a Perl routine
called "read_config" that will read a config file and set everything
nicely, couldn't you just stuff a "$SIG{HUP} = \&read_config;" up near
the top of each, and, well...

(like I said, it's been a long week -- perhaps I'm missing something
rather obvious; apologies in-advance)
