     [snips-users] BGPmon question

Hello,

I'm just wondering about bgpmon and its interaction with other files
and the way it uses colons (:) in the device names.

For example, the files /usr/local/snips/etc/updates is
formatted like this:

device1:198.18.178.11:ICMP-ping This is a short comment

And the way bgpmon represents device names is, say:
ASNUM:routername

702:uunet-uk-transit.thn

(Derived from the DNS name)

So what I'm wondering is, if we were to do an update for
device named 702:uunet-uk-transit.thn

Is it barfing because of the colon in the device name
so far we can do updates but I don't think they're showing up
anywhere.

Anyone else found this?

Rob
