I just setup nocol on my linux box.
Using ippingmon to monitor a cisco and a few pipeline routers.
Only prob I have is that its showing me
router 205.233.176.1 13:24 ICMP-ping 0 Critical
rimply 207.61.97.129 13:24 ICMP-ping 0 Critical
ipcc 207.61.97.1 13:24 ICMP-ping 0 Critical
I know for certain that these sites are up.
in "ippingmon-confg" I have
POLLINTERVAL 10
router 205.233.176.1
rimply 207.61.97.129
ipcc 207.61.97.1
when I do a ps -w , I see
19104 p2 S 0:00 /usr/local/nocol/bin/ippingmon
21687 p2 S 0:00 sh -c /usr/local/nocol/bin/multiping -c 10 -s 100
205.233.176.1 207.61.97.129 207.61.97.1 | grep transmitted
21688 p2 S 0:00 /usr/local/nocol/bin/multiping -c 10 -s 100
205.233.176.1 207.61.97.129 207.61.97.1
21689 p2 S 0:00 grep transmitted
When I run /usr/local/nocol/bin/multiping -c 10 -s 100 205.233.176.1
207.61.97.129 207.61.97.1 | grep transmitted
I get:
10 packets transmitted, 10 packets received, 0% packet loss
10 packets transmitted, 10 packets received, 0% packet loss
10 packets transmitted, 10 packets received, 0% packet loss
Any suggestions ?
