     [nocol-users] Monitoring DHCP servers

Has anyone developed anything to monitor DHCP servers with NOCOL? I'm
currently using bpmon to check bootp services supplied by ISC's dhcpd,
but would really prefer something running real DHCP not bootp.

For extra credit (:-)) can it monitor a local DHCP server, i.e. on the
same system as NOCOL. ISC's server ignores the loopback interface and
so won't respond to local requests. (I'm currently just using a mixture
of ps and file modification times.)

								Thanks
								Frank
